The Copyright Safe Music Collective (aka CopyrightSafeMusic.com) was conceived in October 2023 by three anonymous Twitch streamers & musicians to help promote independent artists who generously donate their creativity, talent & time in helping content creators and livestreamers with a wide variety of music for their livestreams, as well as for teachers and their classrooms. After nearly three years of hard work, we’re finally live!
We are proud to offer all of this music 100% for free. No subscriptions. EVER. We hate subscriptions as much as you do.
The Collective focuses primarily on the more mellow & cozy side of music (lofi / lo-fi, ambient & dreamcore, jazz, synthpop & synthwave, 8-bit chiptunes, wholesome/laidback game music, acoustic/folk, etc), but we also have a ton of great music by featured artists who do more energetic and heavier styles (EDM and its many sub-genres, etc.).
Most of the music released by artists in the Collective is instrumental (designed for background music or music for YouTube montages), but there is also a selection of music with singing and lyrics as well, by a number of talented solo artists, duos, and bands.
The CSMC is the premier spot for all the best copyright-safe/stream-safe music you’ll ever need. We’re honored to have a handful of artists with large high-quality catalogs, such as legends Kevin MacLeod & Karl Casey (White Bat Audio).
